今年是中国和西班牙建交50周年。
This year marks the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Spain.
3月9日17时（西班牙时间上午10时），“中欧班列”义乌-马德里对开“中西建交纪念号”发车，这条连接“世界超市”义乌和欧洲最大小商品集散地马德里的“中西建交纪念号”班列是中西建交50周年系列活动的重要一环，也是中国与“一带一路”沿线国家双向奔赴的见证。
At 5 pm on March 9th (10:00 am Spanish time), the "China-Europe Railway Express" started the train from Yiwu to Madrid to commemorate the China-Spain diplomatic relations. This train is an important part of the series of activities commemorating the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Spain. It connects Yiwu, the "World Supermarket", and Madrid, the largest commodity distribution center in Europe. It also bears testimony to the cooperation between China and the countries along the "Belt and Road".

其实，早在2000多年前，古老的陆上丝绸之路就将中国古都长安同西班牙的塔拉戈纳联系在一起。
As early as 2,000 years ago, the ancient capital of China, Chang'an was connected with Tarragona, Spain through the ancient Silk Road.
400多年前，中西两国又通过海上丝绸之路，建立了频繁的贸易往来。2023年是共建“一带一路”倡议提出10周年，更是将中国和西班牙紧密联系，续写着新时代的中西友谊。
More than 400 years ago, China and Spain established frequent trade exchanges through the Maritime Silk Road. Now, 2023 marks the 10th anniversary of the Belt and Road initiative which has brought China and Spain even closer together, sparking a new era in the China-Spain relationship.

西班牙是中国在欧盟内第六大贸易伙伴，中国是西班牙在欧盟外第一大贸易伙伴。2021年双边贸易额达484.14亿美元。
Spain is the sixth largest trading partner with China within the EU, while China is the largest trading partner with Spain outside the EU. The bilateral trade value between the two countries reached 48.414 billion U.S. dollars in 2021.
截至2022年2月，西班牙累计对华投资41.4亿美元，在华企业790余家，主要涉及金融、能源、电信、运输等行业。
